Grafting Workshop - chip budding

Interested in trying your hand at fruit tree propagation? Join us for a specialty workshop on the chip budding grafting technique. This technique is one of the easier forms of grafting and is often used for fruit tree and rose propagation.

This workshop will be led by expert Barrie Agar, retired Head Gardener of Royal Roads, who has a wealth of experience and knowledge in propagation techniques. You will have an opportunity to practice the chip budding technique yourself under her direction, and leave with a chip grafted apple rootstock.

We provide one dwarf apple rootstock (M9) per person and associated grafting materials. Apple scion wood will be provided.

There is a $30 + GST charge for this workshop. Registration in advance is required as space is limited. Payment can be given by credit card over the phone at time of registration, or visit us to pay in person. Please note we require payment to confirm registration. This workshop will take place in an outdoor shaded area.

Please Contact Us to register.

Refund policy: Event tickets are final sale and non-refundable. If you give us at least 48 hours notice of cancellation, we will give you a store credit for the amount of the event. Cancellations within 48 hours of the event, including no shows, will not receive a store credit.
