Cutting back perennials in fall helps maintain healthy plants by preventing pests and disease, as well as creating a tidy garden. On the flip side, a few perennials are best left unpruned as they provide food and shelter for winter birds and insects.
Join us on Sunday, August 30th at 10 am for a walk through our perennial beds to learn which plants to cut back and how, as well as which plants to leave alone and why.
This walk and talk is free and no registration is required. Simply show up on time and ready for fun and learning! The walk and talk will last about 45 minutes.
